Idea Fork β Product Hunt for Problems
Automated product opportunity discovery. Aggregates real user complaints from Reddit and app stores, tracks new products, and synthesizes AI briefs with source-backed evidence.
Every morning, a pipeline scans 44 subreddits, RSS feeds, App Store reviews, Play Store reviews, and Product Hunt. It tags every complaint by type and topic, tracks what products exist, clusters demand signals, and synthesizes the gaps into product briefs β each backed by links to the original posts.
Finding complaints is the easy part. Connecting them to existing products and spotting what's missing β that's where product ideas live. Done manually: 20 tabs, 5 hours, a messy spreadsheet, a vague hunch. This pipeline automates the full chain β collection, tagging, clustering, synthesis β end-to-end, no manual step.
The output: a feed of opportunities where real demand exists but current supply falls short. Not "AI says users are frustrated" β you click through and read what they actually wrote.
Three ways in
- Signal Feed β raw complaints and feature requests, filtered by type and category. The demand side.
- Product Tracker β trending products with their complaint counts. The supply side, and where it's failing.
- AI Briefs β synthesized opportunities with problem statements, evidence, solution directions, and competitive landscape. Every claim links to its source.
